I have always been in charge of the hiring and firing processes, and I do not tolerate people who sit on their badge and dont do anything. I let him keep the badge because this was his brain-child, but I had respectfully messaged him about trading places, at one point about 3 months ago, and he ignored me. Read it, but did not respond. Ive lost my little boy, and while Im with someone who cares for me greatly, that doesnt stop the sadness and anger. All I have left now (other than david) is this damned e-zine... TDL might have thought it up, but I made it grow, watered it and found staff members, even arranged for salaries. When the salary budget got cut, who took the fall so the rest of you could get paid? I did. I gave up all my togs so that you all could get what I promised. When the EP Indie first started, I tried being nice. Nice didnt get results. Firing 6 lazy bums got results. See where Im coming from here?

2005-06-13 [Whim]: It’s like this--everyone here is a volunteer. You volunteered to help. If you don’t like management, what does it matter? You still get your voice heard through the EPI. No matter who is in power or how they handle that power, it’s still volunteers who are contributing and having their voices heard. The Dark Lord did his part. He demanded that there be an E-zine and now we have one. He also passed the responsibility of running the E-zine on to someone else who--by sometimes unpopular methods--has kept the thing alive with the help of the volunteers.

2005-06-13 [Whim]: You will always need someone to run things. Someone has to be the one to step in and beat some ass every now and then, otherwise little will get done. Anyone on the Toggery Committee should realize this since every so often, me or Amalaswinta has to take a moment to get the troops in line. I tried making a fair and balanced committee that had no one leader. It didn’t work because everyone kept sitting around waiting for someone to give them orders.

That’s how Alysandra became leader of the EPI. There were like at least 3 or 4 people who went into this together. She’s the one who stepped up and did something while the others were waiting for directions.
